<span style="font-size: large;">With 2008, <b>Begum Rokeya University</b> was founded to fulfill the need of a superior 
standard university for this students of honors. Prior to a foundation of this 
college or university, It was very difficult with the local students to finish 
their honors course since they had to come to a different city for the 
additionally study. So they always felt the decision of a university into their 
own region. And so after a while Begum Rokeya University seemed to be founded 
and introduced to everyone from the very beginning of 2008. Earlier it was 
branded as Rangpur University although later the name seemed to be changed. It 
began its journey from the same year. The campus on the university is in the 
south component of Rangpur. The academic curriculum started on the session 
2008-09. The university follows the semester system consisting of two semesters 
in 1 year for the students.</span><br />

in the 1st year of admission examination, about 18000 students contested to the 
seats. There were merely two faculties- faculty involving arts and faculty 
involving science and engineering. These faculties contained six different

administration, Mathematics and CSE. Throughout these long six several years, 
the university has developed a good deal. Now it has six to eight different 
faculties containing 21 years old departments. About four countless numbers
